Assembly (Step 1): Turn off system and all electrical power from the breaker. Remove Drain Plug under the Inlet/Outlet Manifold to drain the heater. Loosen the inlet/outlet piping unions. Unscrew the Thermal Regulator Plug. Remove the Thermal Regulator along with the spring attached to it.

Assembly (Step 2): Remove the Inlet/Outlet Manifold by removing the 10 bolts holding the Manifold to the tube sheet. Carefully pry the bottom plate off of the Manifold. The manifold O-ring and insert will come off with the bottom plate.

Assembly (Step 3): Remove the baffle plate to gain access to the Internal bypass valve chamber. Remove the bypass valve assembly and replace it with a new one.

Assembly (Step 4): To replace the valve, reverse the steps listed above. Use the Swimables bypass to ensure your heater is back up and running in no time!
