It delivers the gas pressure and volume required for outdoor gas fire pits. Due to their larger flames and greater heat output, fire pits require a higher pressure than BBQ grills. If you’re experiencing underwhelming flames on your propane fire pit, it’s likely that the pressure on your regulator is too low.
1/2" NPT FITTING INCLUDED – Quickly connect to your DIY fire pit burner with the included 1/2 inch NPT fitting. NPT (National Pipe Thread) is a tapered thread commonly used in DIY fire pit burners. Standard BBQ grill regulators only include a 3/8 inch flared fitting which isn’t compatible with DIY fire pit burners. Celestial has made it easy for you – providing you with an affordable and complete kit ready to attach to your burner.
4 FOOT HOSE LENGTH – This high-pressure propane regulator comes standard with a 4-foot hose, which is the perfect length for most DIY fire pit projects. Designed to locate your propane within your burner enclosure, this allows you enough length to easily remove and replace your propane tank. If you need a longer hose Celestial has hose extensions available.
